Smile Arcade Polls!

Dear Webmasters,

To make communications more interesting and get acquainted, I have an idea of an Arcade Poll or Interview. I will ask questions and you should answer. The more interesting things you tell about yourself, the more you will know about the others.

The questions are:

1.When have you launched your first gaming site? Was it Arcade or Dressup site?
2.How much time and money you spent to promote your first site?
3.What made you
4.How many sites do you already have? Do you plan to create new sites?
5.What do you think about arcade market? Do you have any arcade sites?
6.What do you think about Game sites market prospectives? What market is more prospective, dressup or arcade?
7.What ways of site promotion do you use? What is more effective?
8.Do you use banner exchange networks? What networks have the minimum of fake traffic according to your opinion?
9.Do you work anyhow with the visitors of your sites? Do you try to make them interested in visiting your sites?
10.What is the amount of investment you need to make to get a site that earns 10 000$ per month? How soon one can compensate the investment?
12.Are there any advertisers that give better conditions then googl? Can you rate them and argument the answer?
13.Do you protect your sites from hackers?
14.Do you plan to create your own Arcade/Dressup games? Is it prospective?
15.Can you give a piece of advice to other webmasters?

Thanks!

When have you launched your first gaming site? Was it Arcade or Dressup site?
In March 2007 I launched ArcadeFortress.com

How much time and money you spent to promote your first site?
Link building here and there, some traffic exchanges, and some PPC on ad networks

How many sites do you already have? Do you plan to create new sites?
I flip a lot of websites, and do a lot of affiliate marketing so I usually always have quite a few (20+).

What do you think about Game sites market prospectives? What market is more prospective, dressup or arcade?
Definitely arcade.

What ways of site promotion do you use? What is more effective?
I'm a strong believer that SEO yields the best results.

Do you use banner exchange networks?
Yes and topsites.

Do you work anyhow with the visitors of your sites? Do you try to make them interested in visiting your sites?
I put addthis.com code to all my game pages so that users can easily bookmark any games that they like.

Are there any advertisers that give better conditions then Google? Can you rate them and argument the answer?
XY7 - Awesome CPA network, they have some great campaigns for arcade sites.
Adversal - Earn some extra income through popups.
LinkWorth - There's easy money to be made if your site has PageRank.
Chitika - they offer unique solutions with good payouts, definitely worth a try.

Do you protect your sites from hackers?
Nothing other than frequent backups and making sure my scripts are up to date.

Do you plan to create your own Arcade/Dressup games? Is it prospective?
Possibly buy some, brand them with my URL, and distribute them for free.

Can you give a piece of advice to other webmasters?
Do research before spending money.

1.When have you launched your first gaming site? Was it Arcade or Dressup site?
December, it is called Emperius.com

2.How much time and money you spent to promote your first site?
Eh, maybe an hour per day, link building, banner exchanges like ArcadeBanners and GBN.

3.What made you
I was a game developer who wanted to start a site!

4.How many sites do you already have? Do you plan to create new sites?
I have 2 sites, and i think im good with 2

5.What do you think about arcade market? Do you have any arcade sites?
Ohhh man the arcade market just plain ****s lol. Well if you work hard you'll get some decent earnings, but boy is it saturated

6.What do you think about Game sites market prospectives? What market is more prospective, dressup or arcade?
I believe arcades are more prospective in that they are more appealng than a small niche site

7.What ways of site promotion do you use? What is more effective?
I create games and put my logo in them. Like my game Vulcan, boy did that game reel in the traffic!

8.Do you use banner exchange networks? What networks have the minimum of fake traffic according to your opinion?
Umm, im not sure about fake traffic, but ive used ArcadeBanners, GBN, and mibbi

9.Do you work anyhow with the visitors of your sites? Do you try to make them interested in visiting your sites?
haha i have a funny about me thing and a tools page?

10.What is the amount of investment you need to make to get a site that earns 10 000$ per month? How soon one can compensate the investment?
Whhooaaa, most of it is time and how long your site has propagated throughout the net, but im guesing alot of sponsorships and ads would do the trick

12.Are there any advertisers that give better conditions then googl? Can you rate them and argument the answer?
SPonsorng a game is top notch, as it goes on alot of sites, and banner exchanges are cheap and surprisingly well

13.Do you protect your sites from hackers?
My hosting service does!

15.Can you give a piece of advice to other webmasters?
Hang in there!!!

Sounds interesting.

When have you launched your first gaming site? Was it Arcade or Dressup site?
I launched my first gaming site back in August 2006 and it was an arcade site.
How much time and money you spent to promote your first site?
I was really new to it all so I basically promoted through link exchanging and purchasing traffic.
What made you
I was just looking to try something different so I decided to try arcades.
How many sites do you already have? Do you plan to create new sites?
I have many websites now and I focus on a few of them right now. I plan to create more new sites as soon as the sites that I'm working with are at a steady pace with traffic.
What do you think about arcade market? Do you have any arcade sites?
It's a great place to join in. It's pretty easy and it's the best to work with in my opinion. Most of my sites are arcade sites or something related to arcades.
What do you think about Game sites market prospectives? What market is more prospective, dressup or arcade?
Haven't tried the dressup sites yet but arcades are doing pretty fine for me. I will try the dressup sites pretty soon though.
What ways of site promotion do you use? What is more effective?
Traffic exchanging works out well until the cheaters get involved in it so you have to watch Do you use banner exchange networks? What networks have the minimum of fake traffic according to your opinion?
I use only a few banner exchanges right now. I try to stay away from them though. I'd have to say that the networks with minimum amount of fake traffic has to go with the small networks. I find better results on Analytics with the smaller networks than the bigger networks. I'm not sure why though.
Do you work anyhow with the visitors of your sites? Do you try to make them interested in visiting your sites?
I provide new games frequently and I have the users control panel. At this moment, I'm only trying to gain daily traffic and not really focused on interactivity on the site. What can you do that's interactive if you don't have a good amount of active visitors?
What is the amount of investment you need to make to get a site that earns 10 000$ per month? How soon one can compensate the investment?
$10,000 is about $333 daily. The amount of investment is all due to the pricing of the traffic you get. If the traffic is good and cheap, you'll definitely earn your money back but if the traffic is poor and expensive, don't expect to receive much back.
Are there any advertisers that give better conditions then google? Can you rate them and argument the answer?
Not really, it would spoil the fun. Try working with the smaller networks and see if you can get cheap clicks from them though. Using a few small networks and getting traffic from them for cheap is a great way to purchase REAL arcade traffic.
Do you protect your sites from hackers?
I love banning hackers and spammers.
Do you plan to create your own Arcade/Dressup games? Is it prospective?
I definitely plan to create my own dressup games site. All you need is pure marketing skills and you're perfectly fine.
Can you give a piece of advice to other webmasters?
Learn from mistakes, seek more information and get in contact with other good webmasters in your niche that's in the same position as you are in. They can help you at times and you can help them. Its a win-win situation.

That's it for now!
