Why do people use it so often on blogs or forums?

I'm surprised I didn't recognize those! I usually use urbandictionary.com to lookup Internet slang terms.

For the most part, I understand most of them but there are some random ones that you may throw at me that I will be clueless about.

I'm pretty familiar with the common ones.
